If a man or woman sounds like a jerk on their dating profile, don't go on a date with them. My ex said in his online profile, "If you don't go to the gym, don't bother messaging me." Who says that? That is why I have mostly avoided him the last 4 years. He has a very annoying personality. I'm sure his mom now is annoyed having to live with him, but it seemed that was what she wanted.
If you have kids, don't get picky about their physical features. We all have flaws. No one has a perfect looking mate. No one has perfect looking kids.
If you have enough money to survive, don't try to get more at the expense of paying attention to your family. "The love of money is the root of all evil."
If your man refuses to work and your parents have to pay all the bills, leave him for a season and go live with a sibling. That is what I should have done 4 years ago.
If you think of getting your child a bike or scooter, make sure they are age appropriate and have them wear a helmet.
Don't buy a brand new house if you know you can't afford it. Be grateful for the cheap place you found and stay there till you die.
Don't marry a charismatic or Pentecostal. They are almost never nice people.
Don't own any credit cards. They are never a good thing to have. They will probably mess up your marriage and ruin your entire life.
Don't buy a brand new car. Just keep fixing up your old car. In the long run, it is the better way to do things.
Don't be a jerk about your woman buying things. She deserves a paycheck too if she is caring for your children.
Avoid church if you can. They seem to only split families up these days. The world is too crazy now for church in person.
Appreciate what you have before you loose it. The more you decide to want it, the less likely you will be to loose it.
