Unfortunately the world is very much not safe now and children should not trust people so easily. And someone needs to tell them that. Of course we should not make kids paranoid or overly fearful, but they really need to realize how much they can't trust people.
Children, and all people really, need to have their eyes opened to the darkness. If you don't know it's there, it can sneak up on you and catch you off guard and potentially kill you. If you don't realize that just about everyone is capable of conning you or severely hurting you, you will make stupid choices and trust people way more then you should, and you will end up getting hurt a lot. If you don't realize and accept that the majority of people don't really care about you and they mostly just think about themselves, you will not see reality and be at a disadvantage in life.
Ladies, girls, do not trust boys or men unless you really, really know them. There is absolutely no reason why you should trust any of them. A boy or man needs to EARN your trust. Women and young women are way, way too easy now. They wear their heart on their sleeve and will give their heart away to anyone. And that is why anxiety and depression are such an epidemic all around the world now. It's from letting people IN too much. You can't let too many people into your heart. It will only mess you up if you do. The only being that should be all the way in your heart and your mind is God, not people. Only God is deserving of your whole trust, not any person.
When dating someone, do not assume that he is a good guy, and men do not assume that a girl or woman is good either, until you really get to know them. You have to really study a person to see if they are good or not. Do not take them at face value. Do not just believe what they say, watch what they do.
And I think if more people studied other people more, we all would walk in a ton more wisdom then we might currently.
May God bless you all with more and more wisdom about others and yourself every day. Amen :) May God bless you all!
