Satan always tries to put negativity into our mind. He tries to make us hate anyone and everything. Because he hates everyone and everything. Whenever you are filled with hatred for others, you are filled with Satan.
"How can you say you love God who you do not see if you hate your brother who you do see?" Satan tries to make us judge others too harshly. This judging comes from pride, but never forget "God opposes the proud." We are quick to judge others because then we forget about our own sins for a bit. We like to throw stones at others before they can throw stones at us. It's so easy for people to think they are better then others and to look down on others. It is Satan alone that inspires us to do this. When we look in the mirror for a good long while, spiritually, we ALL realize that all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.
I was guilty of this extreme pride for a long time in judging homosexuals, but just because someone sins differently then you, that doesn't give you any right to despise them. Taylor Swift said it very well in her famous song "Calm Down." She said, "I've learned a lesson that stressin' and obsessin' 'bout somebody else is no fun...You just need to take a seat and then try to restore the peace
And control your urges to scream about all the people you hate
'Cause shame never made anybody" sin less." Amen to that!
Stop hating others. Love others. No matter what they have done. It is NOT our job to judge others, that is only God's job.
