Adventures in Australia

Memories :)

Seeing two kangaroos flash out of the trees while hiking a mountain

Gazing at the most beautiful and breath-taking beach, Cronulla, and watching the ocean waves roll in and out

Feeding Kookaburra birds and watching them laugh and have fun

Cruising around in a Mini Cooper convertible with the top down, enjoying the breeze and the warm sunshine

Learning to drive on the opposite side of the road

Driving into oncoming traffic twice when turning at a traffic light and being embarrassed

Sipping Chai Latte’s and chatting with a friends

Walking on the beach and seeing teens play football and flirt and laugh with each other

Sitting around a camp fire on New Year’s Eve with friends, watching fireworks

Realizing that having kids may not be as scary as I had always thought it would be

Driving to the mountains, seeing a waterfall, and the "three sisters" over the most stunning rainforest valley lush with trees

Getting lost for 3 hours driving around trying to find a beach; my GPS was broken

Spending $450 on a hotel stay for one night at "The Star" hotel and casino on the Darling Harbor

Blowing 20K in one month, has to be a record :)

Getting valet parking for the first time

Taking a cab by myself for the first time

Renting a bike and riding along Brighton Le Sands beach, watching the wind surfers

Relaxing in hot tubs

Getting to be around tons of happy people who laughed a lot and knew how to have fun

Fulfilled my life-long dream of snorkeling over the Great Barrier Reef with a friend

Micro-gliding over a beach and seeing sea turtles in the ocean

Hiking through a tropical rain forest for the first time and swimming in one of its cool streams

Finding that cooking with another person is actually a lot of fun

Learning to trust people more

Meeting a lot of new people, making new friends

Learning that it truly is better to give than to receive and that doing things for others brings the most joy

Feeling more free and more at home than I had ever felt, in Australia.
