Confidence Booster

 Proverbs 14:26 

"In the fear of the Lord one has strong confidence, and his children will have a refuge."

So many today are worried about self-confidence. Insecurity is becoming a common issue. Why is that? Because we are lacking in a connection to God. The more connected to God that you are, the more confident you will be. Your confidence is in knowing God loves you, not in yourself. 

If you are married, you can be confident that God will keep you two together. Faith gives confidence. If you have kids, have confidence and faith that God will keep them safe. You don't need to be worried about anything when you really have faith in God. Then you can have full confidence. 

The most attractive quality a person can have is confidence. When someone believes in themselves, everyone else tends to believe in them too. When you believe God will protect you, he will. God rewards our faith. He gives us what we have faith in. "According to your faith it will be done to you." 

Whatever you want to have happen, have faith that it will happen and it generally will. 

Why would a man who fears God create a refuge for his children? Because of the verse, "Submit to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you." If you fear God, you will resist Satan. The more you resist Satan, the safer your kids will be. If you don't allow evil spirits into your mind, you will always be a safer person. Then your house will be safe and everyone around you will be safer. 

Don't just resist Satan for yourself. Do it for your kids too.
