Girls

We primp and prod at ourselves

Trying to make ourselves look like we don’t naturally look

And all for what? To be loved perhaps.  By someone.

But humans cannot love perfectly.

Humans will always let us down.

So why don’t we give up and look to God for love?

He alone can love us as we should be loved.

Stop looking to others for your approval girls.

The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom.

The love of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom also.

Because once we are loved by God, and truly feel His love,

Nothing else can compare.  Every other love is like a tiny light in the darkness,

Compared to the glorious light of his overwhelming and radiant LOVE for us.

So look upward, not outward, for the love that you need, girls.

Give up, stop searching, God is there, He has always been there.

We all need love.  God alone can give us the love we need.

Run to Him.  He’s missed you.  He wants to be with you.

 

 

God’s Love

When I think about God’s love for us

The fact that the Creator of the ENTIRE Universe loves us,

And we are like mere grasshoppers to him,

I am completely and utterly amazed….and humbled.

 

Do I love like that?  Do I see others as God sees others?

Would I give my life for others as He did?

 

Do not take God’s love for you for granted.

He did not have to love us.  He does not need us.

But he CHOOSES to love us and He wants to be with us.

 

He died for us and gave his everything for us.

“Greater love has no man than this,

that he lay down his life for his friend.”

It would be impossible for God love you more

Than He already does.  Do you believe that?  Do you know that?

In your heart?

Bask in His love, soak it up like a sponge, let Him fill you to overflowing,

So that you can love others with the love he has poured into your heart!
