What is Your Calling?

 "Maybe you are meant to do more then a 9 to 5 job that you hate." 

(Thank you to whoever posted that on Twitter 3 months ago. It became an epiphany for me. 😊)

You don't have to do the job you are doing. You realize that don't you? Some people God does require to work 40 hours a week. Others he simply does not. There are more useful things you can do with your free time if you do not work. 

Money is elusive, flighty, transitory. It can all come to nothing in a matter of months if you act unwisely. Make sure your life is about more then just accumulating more money. Let it be primarily about loving others. That is more important in the long run, such as regarding your placement in eternity. 😀

What is your calling? Is your career your calling? It can be. Were you meant to be a mother or a father? Then be mother or a father. Is God calling you out of the life of business to focus on raising a family? Then do it and do a good job at it. You can do it! Believe you can be a wonderful caretaker of others and you can be. 😊 

God wants us all to take care of someone. Who has God assigned you to? It could be your mate or kids or people at work.

 A lot of the time people try hard to care for too many people at once and they get really tired. Have boundaries. You can't save or help the whole world. But there might be a handful of people God wants you to help. Do it well and with a content heart. 

The more people you help, the less you can help those that you do help. Keep that in mind. 🙂

Go fulfill your calling. Figure out what it is. Take a long bath and pray about it. 😉 And reassure yourself that you have what it takes. You are strong and well able to live out whatever dreams you might want to accomplish. Go live a great life fulfilling your calling. And may God bless you!
