Children
Children are
like bubbles
Careless,
free, floating in the air
Untouched by
life's pain yet
Spotless,
trusting, kind, gentle
They do not
have walls or defenses up yet
Children
believe in life still
They are
daring and think they are invincible
But yet are so
innocent and humble
They dare to
dream, to hope, to believe
That life can
be all it was meant to be.
Cats
Some cats I
believe are angels in disguise
They cheer you
up when you are sad
Let you hold
them if you are crying
Snuggle with
you while you take naps
Greet you when
you come home
And never get
mad at you
Cats do not
judge you
They do not
question anything you do
They have no
opinion about what kind of person you are
They just love
you unconditionally
God gave us a
very special gift when he gave us cats
Cats are
woman's best friend.
The Ocean
Have you ever
seen the ocean at night?
It seems to go
on for eternity
The dark night
sky meets the water in some distant space
The expanse is
breathtaking and mysterious
Seeing the
vastness inspires an awe of how immense God is
In the city
where everything is so compact we forget the grandeur in nature
But walking on
the boardwalk over the ocean reminds you of God's enormity
God's
creation; so amazing, so wonderful, so mysterious.
