What is sin?
Jesus says anyone who lusts after someone they aren't married to has already committed adultery. So we very much need to be careful of our thought life and what we see or listen to etc such as TV and movies. Thoughts are sins just as much as acting on things. Looking at porn is committing adultery just as much as actually committing it.
But being tempted and sinning are two different things. We can be tempted to do something, but if we do not do it, we have not sinned.
Satan will want us to think we are already guilty just by being tempted but that is not the truth. We are not guilty until we dwell on a sinful thought or commit the act of a sin.
Having the thought initially is not sin. Often times thoughts will be put into our mind by Satan. We are not guilty of those. But if we dwell on the thought, then we are guilty.
