The greatest thing to work on in our character is patience. Don't force things before their due time. Let things flow naturally. All of life has a natural flow and progression. Like the beauty of a moutain river, when we just let things flow naturally it is much more beautiful. Also the Bible says, "Those who wait on the Lord will renew their strength." If you are feeling weak and stressed out maybe it's because you are not waiting on God and rushing things.
Galatians 6:9 "Let us not grow weary of doing good, for in due season we will reap, if we do not give up." Whatever you sow you Will reap. It might seem like your good deeds go unnoticed or they are unappreciated but God sees, and he WILL reward you. Don't loose heart. Your reward is coming. For example, I did tons of great things for my last job but did not reap what I sowed there so it seemed worthless, but God rewarded me with a better job so praise God! You will reap a harvest in some way if you do not give up in doing good, so keep doing good. You will be glad you did. :) Doing good can make you weary, but it will boost your confidence the more good that you do and God will reward you. Stay in faith.
Romans 8:25 "If we hope for what we do not see, we wait for it with patience." This is like the verse that "faith is the substance of things hoped for and the evidence of things not seen." Even though you don't see what you might want happening, keep hoping and keep believing that it will. "According to your faith it will be done to you." If you keep on believing that your dreams will come true, then they will, just wait for it to happen. :)
Psalm 37:7-9 "Be still before the Lord and wait patiently for him; fret not yourself over the one who prospers in his way, over the man who carries out evil devices! Refrain from anger, and forsake wrath! Fret not yourself; it tends only to evil. For the evildoers shall be cut off, but those who wait for the Lord shall inherit the land." Everyone has people in life who do them wrong. But don't take revenge on them. Pray for them. Forgive them. And then move on. :) God will enact vengeance on those who wrong you, don't worry.
Romans 12:12 "Rejoice in hope, be patient in tribulation, be constant in prayer." When you go through trials, stay patient. It helps to remember all that Jesus had to endure for us, so if you ever think you are having a hard day, remember what Jesus did for you. Your bad day is nothing compared to Jesus dying on the cross, so we really never have anything to complain about. :)
Ephesians 4:2 "With all humility and gentleness, with patience, bear with one another in love." When you are patient you are acting with humility and you can be gentle with others. Those who are in a rush are almost never gentle, think about it. Focus on patience in all things and you will be a more likeable person. No one likes someone who is always in a rush. Just relax. Chill. And be patient with other, yourself and God. Then you will have more peace.
Philippians 4:6 "Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God." Jesus said, "You have not because you ask not." If you want something, pray about it. God will either say, yes, no or wait. If he says wait, then learn to be patient and wait on him for his perfect timing. Learn how to wait well. :)
Jeremiah 29:11 "For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope." We can be patient and wait on the Lord because we know he has very good plans for us. If you truly trust God, then you will be better at waiting on him. :)
May God bless you! :)
