Never give up hope. Just because you don't seem to be achieving your dreams yet, keep hoping and keep believing. Don't ever stop believing. "All things are possible to those who believe." Also God will generally just fulfill one dream of yours at a time. You can't get to greedy and expect God to make all your dreams come true in one day. :) Give it time, whatever it is that you are hoping for. Trust God to bring about what he has told you that he will. And be patient. But stay in hope and keep praying for it.
Jeremiah 29:11 says "I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope." God wants us to have a good future. He wants to give us the desires of our hearts. But we are to seek his kingdom first and his righteousness and Then all these other things will be added unto us. Don't expect to get the desires of your heart until you first delight yourself in the Lord and seek his kingdom. You can't have the blessing without doing the time. :) You don't rewarded until you put in the hard work.
Romans 15:13 "May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that by the power of the Holy Spirit you may abound in hope." I love this song by Audio Adrenaline, "I get down but he lifts me up." Satan and the world try to put you down all the time. They try to take the wind out of your sails and make you want to dig a hole and burry yourself in it at times, but Jesus said "I came that you might have life and life Abundantly." So always have that hope. Know that God wants you to have a Great life. Amen praise God. :) And he will bring it about in his timing.
Romans 12:12 "Rejoice in hope, be patient in tribulation, be constant in prayer." I love the quote that every person needs something to do, someone to love and something to hope for. Our jobs of course are something to do, but it's nice to have hobbies too. Obviously writing is my hobby. It would be nice if it could be my career, but for now it's just a hobby. :) If you don't have someone to love, find someone to love. :) Obviously with the amount of hours you spend around your co-workers they are great people to show love to. Pray for them. Show concern and ask them about their lives. Take the time to invest in them and to encourage them. You can lean on them at times and then they can lean on you at times. It's always great to have great co-workers. "Two are better then one and a strand of three cords is not easily broken." Amen. And "there is greater strength in numbers." That's a great line from the movie Gladiator. :) The more close friends you have, the better your life will go. Satan wants to isolate you, but don't let him. Make the effort to put yourself out there, even when you know people might hurt you. In the end, you will be glad you did. Also it's key to have something to hope for, maybe a cruise or whatever your dream is. "Never stop believing in the beauty of your dreams." Keep that hope alive that someday, you just might get what you are hoping for. In the mean time, give it to God and watch him work. God never stops working. Even when you don't see it, he's working. Amen. Praise God. :)
Isaiah 40:31 "They who wait for the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles; they shall run and not be weary." While you are waiting for what you hoping for, learn to be good at waiting. Don't try to force things to be ripe before they are. If you try to eat fruit before it's ripe, it doesn't taste as good. You have to wait for what you are hoping for to become ripe before you can enjoy it.
Hebrews 11:1 "Faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen." I always had a hard time understanding this verse, but basically it means if God has given you a vision of your future, keep that vision in front of you and keep believing that it will happen. It's only a matter of time. Just keep having faith that it will come to pass. You might not see it happening now, or you might not see how it could Ever happen, but you have to stay in faith that it could and will happen. If God has told you that it will happen, it will, just give it time. When we hope for something that God has put in our hearts and told us will happen, we can be assured that it will happen, eventually. :)
Never stop dreaming and hoping. "Delight yourself and the Lord and he will give you the desires of your heart." Amen.
