The best cure for anxiety or depression is getting more exercise. That doesn't have to mean going to a gym. I am a germaphobe, so I prefer to avoid places like gyms. If you know you need to get more happy, just go for two walks every day.
It can be hard to find the ideal time to go on a walk. You probably won't feel like going right when you wake up. Usually an hour after waking up is a good time to walk. Then a few hours before bed time is a great time to go for a walk. If you have a baby, or any child, that is a great way to help them fall asleep.
Most of us just sit all day. We don't even realize that we do. We are probably either sitting and looking at our phone or at a TV. Get up and move your body. Dance around to fun music, or you can go on a walk outside. Any illness or disease you don't want can be prevented by walking every day, so do it. And I hope it is always fun for you.
