One of my exes asked my step dad what was up with the relationship between me and my mom. He said, "They have a love hate relationship." That has been most of my relationships. I suppose that is normal though. Even God has always had a love hate relationship with human beings. Before the flood God said that he regretted making us. :( At the end of time about half of us will go to heaven and half of us will go to hell. I remember my ex used to always ask me if I thought he would make it to heaven. I would say, "I don't know how much God is willing to forgive people for."
In any close relationship there is a dynamic of love and hate, probably because you expect so much from the person you love. They make you happy sometimes and when they don't, it makes you angry. You don't get why they can't be wonderful all the time. I have realized that the only reason we get angry is when we have expectations for someone. When they don't meet our expectations, we get angry.
