When you think you could never loose your marriage, that's when you loose it. When you think you could never loose your job, that's when you loose it.
Don't ever get too complacent or too arrogant. Don't expect that things will always go your way easily. You can never just put it in neutral and coast along. You have never arrived. You have never done so much to where you don't need to do anything else. You have to work hard to keep your job, your marriage, and your good status with God. You can't expect life to be a lazy river. So many people want to just jump in a lazy river and float along. You can do that every once in awhile, but don't make that your lifestyle. You could loose everything if you think things should come to you easily. With everything you have, you have to fight for it, you have to work for it.
Your pride might tell you that you don't have to do anything anymore. You have nothing to worry about. You can kick back and take it easy. Your pride says no matter what you do, God will love you, and people will love you. It's good to be confident but not overly cocky. You are not entitled to God's love or anyone's love. If you want love, you have to give love. Whatever you want, you have to first give it out.
God says, "Don't let your pride overtake your life. You are worth more then letting pride ruin your life. Humble yourself in the sight of me and I will lift you up. Stay humble. No matter what happens to you Keep your humility. It is the most important key to success in life. Don't assume anyone owes you anything. They don't. If anything, you probably owe them a lot more then they owe you. Keep that in mind in your relationships. Don't let pride destroy your love life or your job life. Pride has hurt so many people, and they let it happen. It all begins in your mind. Control your thoughts. Put others ahead of yourself. You are not the king or the queen. You need to serve others. Forget about them serving you. Freely you have received, now freely give. I serve you. Now go serve others."
God bless!
