Be a Leader

We all need a strong leader to follow. There are so many evil people out there though, make sure that you are following a good person. People that I have followed in my life were my youth pastor Leanne, my grandma Wanda, Joyce Meyer, Jentezen Franklin, Joel Osteen and now Justin Bieber. I have respected those people greatly. They all kept me going through the hard times in my life and really increased my faith. They encouraged me to help others any way I could, and to never forget about God.

Now I am trying to be like them, and lead others toward a good life. After you have followed other great leaders, strive to become a great leader yourself.

I know I have the spiritual gift of teaching which is why I write. God gave us teachers because he knows we all need some direction in life. We all need someone to follow. We all need to be encouraged and strengthened when life knocks us down.

In order to teach others something, you usually had to have gone through some pretty hard stuff. No one respects someone who hasn't been through anything hard. I think that is why God has let me experience so many hard things, to make me stronger, and so I could help others get through their own hard times.

If you had someone close die, I know how you feel. If you went through a divorce, I know how you feel. If you struggle with loving money and being broke, I know how you feel. If you had verbally abusive parents, I know how you feel.

I remember when I was in counseling, it used to drive me nuts having to talk to counselors who had never been through anything hard. I could just tell from the way they were that their lives were perfect. I had a hard time respecting them, or feeling like they could teach me anything, since it seemed like they hadn't been through anything tough.

If you want to be a leader, God will probably have you go through some serious trials to make you stronger and ready to lead, and to make you more empathetic.

God says to you, "Be strong. I raised you all up to be leaders. Keep reading Lisa's blog, because she has great wisdom about life. :) But branch out on your own too. Lead others. Don't hide in a shell. You have important things to say too. Change this dark world. Let your light shine bright. You can do it. Keep up the good work. Good job fellow leaders."
