Jentezen Franklin

Here are my notes from Jentezen Franklin sermons I just listened to: 

"If we're not careful, music can have a powerful influence on our lives....Daniel refused to bow down to the music of the world."

"Don't let the music of this culture let you disconnect from God....The enemy is thrilled when he can manipulate your thinking...Decide that you will worship God and not the idols of this world."

"God instilled into all of us the desire to pray. We all have an inner longing for God. Prayer is not just for when you get in trouble. It is about walking with God and talking with him. In this life, it's pray or die. It's pray or dry up. We have become so casual in Christianity that now it's all about me. What about what God wants? He wants to hear you talk to him every day. God starts the fire but it's up to us to keep it burning. Never allow the passion and fire for God to go out. It's very important that you develop a prayer life. It should be your number one priority. There will always be something else you think you need to do. Prayer is a sin killer, an obstacle remover, a holiness promoter...A time of prayer is a wall of protection over you and your family. Most miracles in the Bible happened at the hours of prayer, 9am and 3pm. You need a prayer time and a prayer place."
