Life is Worth Living

 That title is from a new Justin Bieber song. Look it up. :) If anyone knows Bieber, tell him to do his Freedom Experience concert at all his upcoming concerts next year. That would be super cool! Like with all his Christian songs. Woot woot!

That would for sure make his life more worth living. I wish I could be in some of those concerts and sing some songs. I would totally pass out from excitement if I ever got to do something like that. lol. I would sing Trust Me by Crystal Lewis and Hero by Mariah Carey. Those two songs have always meant a lot to me. I sang Trust Me for my Celebrate Recovery group one time and made some people cry. It's a great song. :) I was in Celebrate Recovery to heal from my dad molesting me years ago. 

I used to tour and sing in churches when I was only 10. Pastor Bob from Open Door Mission in Omaha, NE took me around to churches with him to raise money for the mission. He paid me $50 every time I came with him. I remember being so nervous. I would sing Colors of the Wind from Pocahontas or For the Children of the World by Amy Grant. I will never forget that experience. I can't believe they let me do that when I was only 10. Pastor Bob would share our family's story before I sang. We had to stay at his homeless mission for 2 weeks when my parents were divorcing. My dad wasn't physically violent but he threatened my mom. They had a fight one day and she said she would call the police. Maybe he was yelling too much and she was scared. He told her, "If you make that call, I will make sure you can never pick up a phone again." So she divorced him. Good decision. 

Luckily I have never been threatened by anyone, and I have never threatened anyone, but things like that are a huge reason why I keep writing and trying to reach out to people. Because I had a hard upbringing I have been trying to make the world a better place ever since I got saved at 14. We all need to become better people, and we all need to help others become better people. We are all totally capable of horrible things. To think that you are incapable of doing certain things is deceiving yourself. We could all do just about anything, given the perfect set of circumstances. 

God says, "You are not alone. Don't be afraid of your future. Things will work in your favor and you will be safe. Just have faith. Always believe that I can keep you safe and I will. Now go help people. There might someone you know who needs extra encouragement to keep them from hurting themselves or someone else. You could be a friend to them to keep them from doing something they will regret for the rest of their lives. Be a light to the world, like Justin Bieber is being a very strong bright light now. Good job Justin. :) Go be a light and be fruitful. Bear more spiritual fruit. You can do it."
