Let Them Go

I just saw a very interesting movie, Let Him Go. It made me think of how people use either money or guns to get what they want. Maybe they pay a lawyer and fight in court over kids or houses or stuff, or if they don't have money, they use guns to get what they want. I have always found an easy solution for this, just don't want anything. If you don't want anything you won't need money or guns to get it. You can't have everything, but God will still give you something. Be happy with the something that you get. In trying to get more, you will probably loose something. You can work 60 hours a week and get more money, but you might loose your family over it. You can go to the gym and build a perfect body, but you will loose your humility and maybe some friends when you start thinking you are better then everyone else. You can get a great car that you love, but you will loose your peace worrying about the car all the time. You can get the guy or girl you want, but you will loose your privacy and maybe your peace of mind. In everything that you gain, you loose something else. In the movie, the lady got her grandson back, but she lost her husband. If you are meant to have something, God will give it to you. If you aren't meant to have something, you won't have it. Don't force your way into getting something. If it's not meant to be, it is simply not. Let it go. Let them go.
