Secret Crushes

I think in every couple, both people have a secret crush on someone else. I know if my bf could be, he would be with Paris Hilton. If I could be, I would be with Justin Bieber. I love Justin Bieber! He is so cool!

I remember when I was married to my ex husband, I secretly wanted to be married to the son of the main Hillsong pastor, Joel Houston. Why have I always secretly been in love with Joel Houston and Justin Bieber? Because they are writers like me! I love that they are creative. There is nothing hotter then a man who loves to be creative. It really doesn't matter what a man looks like, if he loves to write, that is sooo hot....

For some reason it is more women who feel at liberty to be creative, maybe because we have more time, maybe because guys feel like it's gay to be creative, but it's not. A man who can write or paint or tries to write poems or songs....so hot!

On my first phone call to my ex husband 9 years ago he read some poems to me that he had written. They were amazing!  I started balling on the phone because he was such a great writer, and also because I was amazed I finally found a Christian man. That is a very rare thing these days. We got married in a courthouse literally 2 weeks later. But then 7 years later, Satan broke him down. Satan always tries to take out the great ones, and there isn't much the rest of us can do about it. I could have prayed for him more the whole time I knew him. I don't know why I didn't. I suppose I thought he was fine, but clearly he wasn't. 

Like an idiot, I told him about some manager at Papa John's that I somewhat liked and after that he just lost it. He kept accusing me of cheating on him. He never trusted me. He didn't believe me when I said I wasn't doing anything. Nothing happened with the guy at Papa John's.  It was just a distant crush. But just that was enough to make him go completely mad. 

This is why Paul says, "Those who marry will face many troubles in this life and I wish to spare you of that." But really, everyone faces many troubles in life. It doesn't matter if you are single or married, working or a "home maker," going out all the time or staying home. No matter what you do, there will be trouble. That is just life, but it is what it is. Someday we will all be in heaven. If you believe in Jesus. Hey, believe in Jesus, that he existed, that he can save you, that you Want him to save you and try to be as good as you can be. Then you can go to heaven.
