Go Love Yourself

 "If you like the way you look that much, then you should go and love yourself."

Have you noticed that usually people who are highly attractive are single? That is because they are too in love with themselves to love anyone else. I have noticed this in a lot of guys that I have liked over the years. 

If they are determined to just love themselves, there is nothing you can do. You can't make them love you. Just let them love themselves. They will be lonely, but oh well. At least they never have to think anyone is better then themselves or worthy of love besides themselves. They can just take care of themselves. 

In relationships, you have to take care of someone else, but then they take care of you, so it's worth it. It could be said it's more selfish to be with someone, because they will pay you back eventually for all you do for them.  When they wake up and smell the coffee that you are awesome, and decide to really appreciate you, then they will give back to you for giving to them. 

Of course some people never appreciate the person they are with, so it goes on being a one sided relationship forever, or the couple eventually breaks up. 

If you want, give. If you need love, give love. If you want a back rub, give a back rub.  If you want someone to cook for you, cook for them. Whatever you want to receive, give it first. If you want to be happy, make someone else happy. "It is in giving that you receive. So give, that your joy may be full....Freely you have received, now freely give."

It is not just about you. Get over yourself. It is about others too.
