I have thought a few times that each of my blogs is like a sermon. It is funny that pastors supposedly take a whole week to write a sermon. I could write a sermon in 10 minutes. I always wished I could have become a pastor, but God made me a woman. Ok I feel God says I still could become a pastor, and just wait for it. For now I get to be an online blog pastor. Maybe a lot of you wouldn't go to church, but I'm glad you read my blog, because this is almost like church. It is a much more comfortable church, that's for sure. You get to stay in your pj's and always be by food and a bathroom. :)
I kind of liked going to church but part of me also hated it. From age 0 to 25 I went to church every single Sunday, but I felt like it was an obligation. I pretty much was raised to think if you don't go to church physically every single Sunday you will go to hell.
Now that I am older, I don't care about all those silly teachings. I know God is everywhere. I don't have to go to some building to find him. God is more on Twitter then he is in any church. Why? Because in church you only hear the pastor talking, on things like Twitter you can hear what everyone has to say about God. Also it is 24/7. I always hated that church was only 1 hour a week. I always thought what is the point of that. You should worship God and think about God 24/7, not just one hour a week.
The people who go to church think they are so special. They hold their heads up high as if to say, "Look at me. I made it to church." So what? What do you do the other days of the week? What do you think about? Does God cross your mind at all the rest of the week? No probably not. What do you eat like? What is your lust life like? What is your marriage like? How do you talk to your kids?
Someday I'll be an official pastor, but this will do for now. Maybe you can all become pastors too. But be a 24/7 pastor, not just a one hour a week pastor.
God bless. :)
