I don't think I have ever written about racism before but it's about time that I do. I currently have living in my house myself a white American Christian, a girl who is Mormon, a girl who is a Mexican Catholic and is lesbian, and my boyfriend who is a Jewish Jew. :) This is my family now, and they are more normal and kind then any family I have ever had. I have finally learned to accept and love all people. And it is time for you to as well.
I have seen so much corruption in white Americans. I am quite tired of traditional white Christian people. Us white people like to hold our heads up high and say we have it all figured out, but no we don't, not one bit. Every race has problems. Every race has sin. And every race can be saved and go to heaven, if they love God and love others.
I have said for a long time that I am racist against my own race. I have always liked other races more then white people. Have you noticed that white people have a Lot more issues then other races? I think it is because we have a lot more pride. Which I know God finds pride to be repulsive.
People used to use the Bible to justify slavery and being racist against black people. Now people are using it to be racist against Muslims. I don't agree with hating anyone. I don't care what they did, or what one group from their race did. I don't care if they believe something different then you, that doesn't make it ok to hate them.
Benny Hinn's speech bashing Joel Osteen is pretty ironic because he is being racist against his own race. He is acting like a white American Christian, but he is from India. So in his speech he is being racist against his own race, in saying they can't go to heaven if they don't believe in Jesus. Maybe he got tired of people from India and so he decided to become like a white American Christian. Really it is just that he is a con artist and he knew America and Christianity is where a lot of money is. So he tries to talk the talk just to get as much money out of Christians as he can.
The older I get, the more I realize that it is not always that I am right and everyone else is wrong. That is narrow minded. Consider this, what if other people are right and you are wrong? What if you aren't the only right person on the planet?
What if you are not God?
It has always bugged me that white people seem to think they are God. So much pride. So much arrogance. We like to point the finger at all those other messed up people, but we never look in the mirror at ourselves. We judge others to distract us from ourselves, because we don't want to look at ourselves.
Don't be racist. Love all people. Because God loves all people.
God bless.
