Real Estate Agent

Marketing idea to get clients as a real estate agent:

Here's what I would do if I become a real estate agent, which I am strongly considering doing.  Make up flyers and put them on apartment doors all over town.  We got one on our door once and I considered called the realtor.  Their flyer said "Tired of renting?  I can help you buy your new home today!"  Very good I thought.  What I would put on a flyer is...."Tired of renting?  Tired of climbing stairs and always hearing the tenants above you or below you?  Did you know that you only need a credit score of 580 to qualify for a FHA loan where you would only have to pay 3.5% down?  Depending on the home you buy, your mortgage payment could be half of what you are paying for rent.  Call me today and I can help you buy your new home!  God bless!" :)  woot.  I think that would work pretty well. :)  Feel free to steal my idea if you know anyone who is a real estate agent.

The best song ever :)

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Rl2qZvQg3Lc

Believe!

"A dream is a wish your heart makes when your fast asleep. In dreams you can loose your heartache. Whatever you wish for you keep. Have faith in your dreams and someday your raindbow will come shinning through. No matter how your heart is grieving, if you keep on believing, the dream that you wish will come true." :) yep I'm thinking the person who wrote that song probably lived through the Great Depression and a song like this gave them hope. You gotta have hope. If you don't have hope you have nothing. Amen  :)  Hope and have faith in God that things can always get better and that God really does want to bless you and that your dreams can come true. Just as people want us to have faith in them, to believe that they can be great, God wants us to have faith in Him. Whatever we believe about people, they become. Whatever we believe about God, He becomes. If we believe God will bless us, He will. We can cause the opposite to happen too. You gotta believe. Always believe. That God is good. Amen :)

Dreams Really Do Come True!

My hubby and I are gonna buy a 2014 mobile home that I found on Zillow for only 55k and it looks amazing! woot! My mom said it sounds too good to be true but I was just thinking, most of the things in my life have sounded to good to be true lol. Like wow I get to be a stay at home mom for as long as I have and my husband can provide for us even though he didn't finish college. Praise God for the high paying oil field jobs in Texas! Or wow my car has been running great for 14 years without needing any major repairs. Or wow I haven't had any major health issues since I was 10 when I had my appendix out but after have been perfectly healthy. A friend said I have divine health; I think there is a divine a lot of other things too lol.  Or wow I got to go to and graduate from a private Christian college even though I had a single mom and a dad who didn't pay child support much. Or wow I married the most amazing, pure and wonderful guy despite my past of being abused and most abuse victims end up with not very good mates. Or wow I actually got to go to Australia and snorkel the Great Barrier Reef like I'd always dreamed of. God truly does give us the desires of our hearts! If anyone doesn't think that God really blesses his children, my life is a huge testimony that He definitely does. Or wow I got to live in Hawaii for a summer and go to the beach almost every day while nannying my cousins. Or wow I got to work on a cruise ship and do the Alaska cruise 10 times. Or wow I got to go to the Grand Canyon like 5 times and backpack to the bottom of it and camp out for a week. The list could go on and on but wow God has REALLY blessed me a lot! It really is pretty amazing all the things I have gotten to do! Praise God! Or wow I got to go to Taiwan twice and India once and have the most amazing experiences of my life. And our India trip was video taped with YWAM and used as a promo video. So cool. Or wow I finally got to publish some books, even it they are just self-published. It really is pretty amazing all the dreams of mine that have come true. Praise God! He has been SO good to me! And thank you to those of you who made my dreams come true, like my mom and step dad helping pay for my college and my aunt for letting me live with them for a summer. Thank you!!! May God bless you all!

On Balance

The show "Hoarders" on Lifetime really got me thinking.  I have noticed that some people have no problem buying themselves tons of stuff and feeding themselves tons of food and then there are others of us who have a very hard time buying anything for ourselves and starve ourselves too much.  I was always on the starving myself and hating to buy things for myself side until recently.  But of course being in the middle and balanced is best.  :)  The reason for this is that all people tend toward either legalism or license; the law or total abandoned freedom.  I was raised very much under the law in regards to what I ate, wore etc.  But I'm finally loosening up a bit and being less ascetic which I think is good.  Don't starve yourself; learn to enjoy food, but don't enjoy food too much.  "Do not love the world or anything in the world."  Take care of yourself but don't indulge yourself either.  Set limits on yourself.  Say no to yourself, but don't always, always say no to yourself.  Allow yourself to enjoy life a little.  I think the reason some people become so legalistic and enjoy nothing is because they are worried of getting caught up in it all and being overly indulged in the pleasures of life.  But there is a way to enjoy life but still remain balanced.  For example, have a scope of ice cream every day but not a whole bowl of ice cream.  Buy one new shirt when you go to the store but not like ten.  Whenever you get something new, give something that you already had away.  Balance is always so, so key in life. Amen.   May God bless you all! :)

On Hoarding and Giving Things Away

Tips for if you have too much stuff, for any interested....

-Donate extra food and canned goods to a food bank or homeless shelter
-Box up any clothes you haven't worn in a few months and take them to a Goodwill etc.
-Donate extra toiletries, lotion, soap etc. to a homeless shelter
-Give extra blankets to homeless people you might drive by... etc....

.....So many places to give things and there's so many people that need the things that some people might hoard.

I think being poor at one time might make a person give more and keep less, because then they realize how much others might need the extra things they have.  But being poor once can also have the opposite effect; then a person might cling to things more because they are worried that they will need them someday.  But have faith that God will provide for your needs and give away whatever you don't currently need.  "Give us this day our daily bread."  I think Jesus said "daily" in the Lord's prayer for a reason lol.  Amen. :)  May God bless you all!  And happy giving!  It really is so much fun to give things away.  "A generous heart is a happy heart." :)

Take Shelter

Seeing the movie "Take Shelter" really made me think again about the end of the world, the Tribulation and making a safe place to stay etc. Here's my plan for if the s....ever does hit the fan. :) Buy a trailer and put it out in the middle of nowhere. Get solar panels for it so it will be self sustaining on electricity. Dig a well for water. Get a cow for milk, chickens for eggs and rabbits for meat.  Rabbits are cute but they also breed faster than almost any animal so they could make a great food source. And then plant a garden. You and your family would be set for the rest of your life that way really, unless the well runs out of water. So putting the trailer by a large river would be best probably, then you could fish for food too, and filter the water somehow to make it safe to drink.
