Beware of Anger

Joyce Meyer always says anger is one letter away from danger. We get angry when we feel someone has wrong us in some way. We expect people to be a certain way and when they are not, we get angry. But what if we just stopped expecting anything from anyone? Then we would never get angry. Nothing in life is perfect. No person can be perfect. No situation or job or day will be perfect. Stop expecting things to be perfect. If you lower your expectations, and realize that everything and everyone is messed up, you won't get angry when they are messed up. You can get angry at the person for being messed up, or you can feel angry at the people who messed them up, but what is the point of that? Just accept people as they are; broken, confused, worn out, un-predictable. You won't be able to get anyone to fall in line perfectly. People are not robots. We all have our own free will. You can't force anyone to do anything. You can encourage certain behaviors by setting boundaries, but you cannot change or control anyone. Just let people be. Let people do what they want to do and you will have peace. God bless. :)
