Do you ever just let yourself go with God? We let ourselves go for people, when we fall in love. What about with God? Have you ever tried getting obsessed with God? He's the main one you should be obsessed with. He is the only Being alive truly deserving of our obsession. Not any person, not football ;) , not alcohol or nicotine, only God.
He loves us more then any of us realize. I think most people hold back with God because they feel they can't trust him. But you can. People are afraid of the ruler of the world, because he is the ruler of the world. But you don't need to be afraid of him, as long as you do what he wants you to do. If you sin, then yes be afraid of him and do right. But as long as you are doing the right thing, you don't need to afraid of him. You can crawl up in his lap and fall in love with him. :)
God doesn't need to be intimidating. Jesus died for us so that we could approach God's thrown with confidence.
For me, God is my best friend. He always has been and He always will be. :) There is no better best friend you can have. He will always have your back. People in the world might say they do for a time, or act like they do, but Only God really will have your back, if you are on his side. So trust him. And love him. Always. :)
God loves you! More then you realize! Never underestimate how Much God loves you! Don't sell yourself short. You Are his precious diamond that he would search the whole world for, and he does, every day. God is always just waiting for you to notice him and say hi. He cares about you more then you realize, and he wrote you the longest love letter you have ever gotten, the Bible. So read it and fall in love with God. ;) Fall head over heels for God. :)
He is the only one who deserves that much love from you.
