It is quite ironic that recently I have watched a few great movies about gambling with my bf; Rounders, 21, The Gambler, but he didn't get the message that maybe he should not gamble anymore. In each of those movies the person gambling gets themselves in serious deep shit from gambling. I got the message loud and clear. lol. But sadly he didn't.
He just lost $7,000 gambling in Vegas. Why do they have such beautiful casinos out there? People like my bf, who just don't know when to stop.
For the most part, I don't care. It was his money, not mine. That is a huge benefit to having separate checking accounts when you are with someone. Then they can't get mad at you for what you do with money and you can't get mad at them.
Ok, it is a little upsetting for me, because he could have bought me a new used car with that money, but whatever. I am mostly cool with my car. It is good enough.
Anyways, pray for my bf that he will be wiser with money in the future, and that if he does gamble again, he will know when to stop. Thanks all. God bless. :)
