My cat just had a single kitten. It wasn't getting enough milk. Anytime she would get up it would cry in it's kitten way. So she would lay down again with him. That meant she was barely eating and drinking water. That caused her milk to dry up. So the kitten died yesterday from not getting enough milk. May Fluffball rest in peace.
The lesson in that series of events is don't forget about yourself. You can only care for others if you take good care of yourself first. Remember to eat, go outside for walks, get enough sleep, lay down a few times a day, drink plenty of fluids even if you have to run to the bathroom more. Don't neglect your needs for a needy person. They will be better off if you are happier while you take care of them. Do what you need to do to take care of yourself first. May God bless you. 😁
