6 Beliefs of Islam

Muslims believe some things that Christians believe but there are also many differences.

Muslims believe in most of the Old Testament but very little of the New Testament.

What Do Muslims Believe?Blue Mosque Turkey

"Muslims believe in One Unique, Incomparable God"
(=This is also what Christians believe, except that we believe there are three in one in the Godhead; God the father, Jesus the son and the Holy Spirit. Muslims believe there is just God the father.

"In the Angels created by Him (we also believe this); in the prophets through whom His revelations were brought to mankind; (yes) in the Day of Judgement and individual accountability for actions; (yes) in God's complete authority over human destiny and in life after death.(yes)"

"Muslims believe in a chain of prophets starting with Adam and including Noah, Abraham, Ishmael, Isaac, Jacob, Joseph, Job, Moses, Aaron, David, Solomon, Elias, Jonah, John the Baptist, and Jesus, peace be upon them."

Yes except Jesus was not JUST a prophet. He was/is the son of God. 1 Jn. 2:22-23 says, "Who is the liar but the one who denies that Jesus is the Christ? This is the antichrist, the one who denies the Father and the Son. Whoever denies the Son does not have the Father; the one who confesses the Son has the Father also."

"But God's final message to man, a reconfirmation of the eternal message and a summing-up of all that has gone before was revealed to the Prophet Muhammed (PBUH) through Gabriel."

And this is the main lie of Islam. It was Jesus, not Muhammed, that showed mankind the light and the truth. Who was Muhammed in actuality? A minister of Satan most likely. Satan is the Father of lies. Any one who spreads lies that conflict with the truth in the Holy Bible are empowered by or sent by Satan.

"How does someone become a Muslim? Simply by saying 'there is no deity apart from God, and Muhammed is the Messenger of God'. By this declaration the believer announces his or her faith in all God's messengers, the scriptures they brought and their teachings."

Ironically that is how one is saved in the Christian religion too. Except by confessing faith in Jesus, NOT Muhammed. "If you confess with your mouth 'Jesus is Lord' and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead you will be saved."

"Each of these beliefs will be discussed further:
1. Muslims believe in One God "Allah", Supreme and Eternal, Infinite and Mighty, Merciful and Compassionate, Creator and Provider."

They did get God's characteristics correct. God the Father IS all of these things. They are at least correct on all that.

2. "Muslims believe in a chain of prophets starting with Adam and including Noah, Abraham, Ishmael. Isaac, Jacob, Joseph, Job, Moses, Aaron, David, Solomon, Elias, Jonah, John the Baptist, and Jesus, peace he upon them. Muslims believe in all messengers of Allah without any discrimination among them. Every known nation had a warner or messenger from Allah who were chosen by Allah to teach mankind and deliver His Divine message. But God's final message to man, a reconfirmation of the eternal message and a summing-up of all that has gone before was revealed to the Prophet Muhammad through the Angel Gabriel."

I already commented on this. This is false. It was Jesus who summed up the law and who the prophets spoke of, NOT Muhammad.

3. "A Muslim believes in all the scriptures and revelations of Allah. They were the guiding light which the messengers received to show their respective peoples the Right Path of Allah. In the Qur'an (Muslims holy book), special reference is made to the books of Abraham, Moses, David and Jesus. But long before the revelation of the Qur'an to Muhammad, some of those books and revelations were lost or corrupted. The only authentic and complete book of Allah in existence today is the Qur'an."

This is a lie from Satan. The Holy Bible is the incoruptible, infallible word of God. It was not lost or corrupted in translation. Think of it, God is the creator of the universe, therefore He could easily preserve His Word and make sure it says what He wants it to say.

4. "A Muslim believes in the angels of Allah. They are a pure creation and are splendid beings whose nature requires no food, drink or sleep. They spend their days and nights in the worship of Allah and in implementing His commands."

This is true as far as I know lol. Although there are accounts of angels eating in the Old Testament. :)

5. "A Muslim believes in the Day of Judgement. This world will come to an end someday, and the dead will rise to stand for their final and fair trial. People with good records will be generously rewarded and warmly welcomed to the Heaven of Allah, and those with bad records will be punished and cast into Hell."

On the contrary it is anyone who believes in Jesus who will be "warmly welcomed into the Heaven of Allah (or God)" not necessarily those who just did good deeds. We are not saved by our good deeds. We are saved by faith in Jesus Christ alone. "For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith, and this is not of yourselves, so that no man may boast." We cannot save ourselves. Jesus saved us when he died for us. All we have to do is believe in Him. It seems too simple but it's The truth.

Likewise it is those who do not believe in Jesus that will be "punished and cast into Hell," not necessarily those "with bad records." Jesus can save anyone and he does. "Anyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved." Therefore, anyone who believes the Islamic faith will be cast into Hell, not Heaven, according to God's Holy Bible.

6. "A Muslim believes in the timeless knowledge of Allah and in His power to design and execute His plans, and that nothing could happen in His Kingdom against His Will. His knowledge and power are in action at all times and in full command over His creation. He is wise and merciful, and whatever He does must have a meaningful purpose. If this is established in our minds and hearts, we should accept with good faith all that He does, although we may fail to understand it fully, or think it is bad."

I like this one. :) Yes I fully agree. God has his reasons for all that He does and often times we don't understand but we still need to trust in Him.

So be on your gaurd about the Islamic religion. Apparently Islam is the number one most rapidly growing world religion. They have taken over Europe and Africa for the most part. Now they are trying to take over the U.S. Apparently Michigan has been taken over by Muslims.

They are sending missionaries to the states just like we would send missionaries out for Christianity. Jesus warned that there will be a great "falling away" in the end times. This is the falling away, people converting to Islam. So be wise and don't be deceived by them. Islam is not the truth, Jesus and the Bible are the truth.

Jesus said, "I am the way, the truth and the life. No man comes to the Father except by me." Meaning He is the ONLY way to be saved. There is no other way.

May God make America strong and make our convictions able to withstand pressures that might be coming to convert to Islam. There is only one truth, and that is the Bible and Jesus. Don't be swayed. Stand firm and put on the whole armor of God.

May God be with you! :)
