The whole world melts away
It feels as if angels carry you away
You keep trying but can barely say
How much you appreciate that day
When God came in your soul, you pray
For those who have not found him yet
Your soul only wants to be there
It feels as though you can stare
At God's face and maybe share
In what heaven must feel like
It has always meant a lot to me
And filled my heart with so much glee
To sing a song to God directly
I know he hears my songs of love
While he longs to bring me above
The chaos of this earth
For a good while I must stay
And simply dream of that day
When I can sing to God and stay
In heaven always
