I have boogie boarded in the CA ocean
I saw tons of windmills in motion
I stood in Destin, Florida on the beach
As I wrote books hoping to teach
Lived in a hotel with a nice hot tub
I've seen a few cool clubs
Hiked to the bottom of the Grand Canyon
Spent many nights exploring Vegas
Went hiking in Estes Park, CO
Worked on cruise ships in Alaska
Still haven't seen New York
Three fourths of the US I've seen
Anyone I met I tried to glean
New wisdom from them all
My traveling days were a ball
Now I am settled down here
Never to leave I fear
Hopefully someday I'll travel again
Maybe an around the world cruise
