Trials Lead to Greater Strength

When hard trials hit your life you might feel like your life is over.  But if the trial didn't kill you, and you are still alive, you are alive for a reason. ;) Paul said, "God comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves receive from God." Amen! So at times God lets us go through hard times to draw us closer to him. If you have a kid, you know that you feel the closest to them when they are in pain. That is how it is with us and God. We might not like it, but maybe sometimes God hurts us in order to bring us closer to him. Maybe that is why James says "Consider it joy when you face trials of many kinds" because "God is close to the broken hearted and binds up their wounds." Sometimes people do this on purpose, they hurt themselves because they want others to feel sorry for them. That is what leads to masochism, as in people enjoying pain. Others go to the other extreme and never talk about their pain and try to tough it out. But in the case with God, he knows the pain we are going through. He knows our unspoken cries and he cares. He is closer to us when we are in pain then when we are not. The best thing to do when going through hard trials is to keep believing and keep hoping that God will work all things together for your good. If you believe he will, He Will. Jesus said, "According to your faith it will be done to you." Amen. Also God lets us suffer to strengthen us. Anyone you know who seems really strong has probably been through a lot of trials. What doesn't kill you makes you stronger, and that is very true. The most spoiled, weakest and most ungrateful people are often those who haven't gone through to many hard times. But the happiest, strongest and most thankful people have usually been through a ton. And they have learned how to let the hard times make them a better person. Jesus said, "Those who overcome to the end will be saved." If you don't learn to overcome things, your life will suck. :) The better you get at overcoming hard times, the better your life will be. The weakest people have the worst lives. Cowards have the worst lives. If you want a great life, you have to learn to overcome trials and let trials make you stronger. Often times people struggle with insecurity, but the root cause of that is when a person knows they aren't good at overcoming hard times. How do we overcome? Not complaining when times are hard. Learning to be tough. Learning to find the silver lining in every cloud over us. Staying positive when you could be negative. Staying in faith and trusting God no matter what comes your way. THAT is how you overcome. :) I pray this blessed you all. God loves you! Never forget that. :)
