The most nostalgic day of the year. It is like your entire life flashes before your eyes. You think of all the people you used to be around at Christmas, and you miss them.
No one likes to say goodbye. But very few things last forever. Family members move away. Kids leave home. Siblings decide to stop being kind. Friends leave your life.
The only thing that is always there is, not alcohol or pills, God. 😀 "God is near to the broken hearted and binds up their wounds."
If you feel sad this Christmas, cuddle with your pet, watch a happy movie, cook something, write a letter to your crush or mate, or spend time praying for all those that you miss. Maybe you are thinking about them because God wants you to pray for them.
God I pray for my daughters. May they stay happy and safe. May they remember the Christian foundation I tried to teach them. May my years with them not have been in vain. I pray someday I'll see them again and that it will be a happy reunion. May they always succeed in school and have tons of great friends. May they be careful what boys they like, and God lead them to the perfect guy to marry someday. May they always be thankful for what they have and grow up strong and healthy.
May all your Christmas dreams come true. God will meet all your needs according to his glorious riches in Christ Jesus. 😃
