Most parents expect their kids to fend for themselves. It's every man for himself right? But God gave us all parents for a reason. To help us.
I was just thinking how back when my former family was together, my in laws didn't want to share anything with us. They could have loaned us their extra car to keep us from the burden of car payments. They could have loaned us their extra house when their son became too insane to keep a job. But they didn't think we needed help. Now the burden is totally on them to care for the kids.
If you have kids and grandkids, help them. That is your assignment from God. Help them before it all goes up in smoke for them.
