Forgive Yourself

If someone tries to condemn you for something and you get angry, it only shows that deep down you may still have guilt or shame over that thing in your past.

The solution: Let it go. Take the weight off of your own shoulders. Forgive yourself. Because once you let it go and forgive yourself, nothing anyone says will be able to phase you, including Satan.

Satan can only ...
have power to cause us guilt and shame over that thing in the past as long as long as we let him. Continuing to feel shame and guilt over an event, and not forgiving yourself, actually empowers Satan and gives him something to attack you in your mind with. You give him a reason to accuse you, due to your own inability to forgive yourself. Have grace with others, but also have grace with yourself, because God does.

Don't be so hard on yourself. If you are hard on yourself, you open the door for Satan to be hard on you as well. Why? Because self-hate is a sin. It is not ok to hate yourself because it is yourself; it is still hate, and it is still sin.

Accept that God has forgiven you, for everything. See clearly that "there is no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus." Then you will be FREE!!! And Satan won't be able to accuse you in your mind of anything any longer.

Stop giving him the power to accuse you to yourself in your thoughts. Set yourself free! And you will be free.

"Whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven."  Amen!  Bind that guilt and shame and Satan still not be able to attack you with it any longer. :)
