Ever since I was 6
God became my daddy
I realized he was far better than
My biological dad
Who failed me greatly
But I clung to the hope
That God would never let me down
He has been the best dad anyone could want
I could never pay him back for all he gave me
All the ways he blessed me
All the great jobs, great friends, good times
I am so glad I let my birth dad go
And started to follow my heavenly father
My life has been so full
As a result of that
God you are a wonderful dad
I could not ask for more
Then all that you gave me
