John 14:26
"The Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, he will teach you all things and bring to your remembrance all that I have said to you."
A lot of churches act like the Bible doesn't matter anymore. It is more like a good luck charm then something that should actually be read. The issue is that a lot of Americans want their mind to go off to lala land and to not really think anymore. That is not what the Holy Spirit wants us to do. He helps us remember the Bible. He cannot help us remember the Bible if we never read it though. The Holy Spirit wants us to know God's word, backwards and forwards. If it seems that whatever spirit you have had around you does not want you to read the Bible, it is not the Holy Spirit, but possibly an evil spirit.
Sometimes with Bible reading it can feel like what is the point to reading it if we might not remember it. That can happen a lot with reading or listening to anything. But that is why the Holy Spirit is so helpful. He helps us to remember what we read.
Jesus and the Holy Spirit are one. The trinity of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit are three in one. They are at the same time three but also one. They are in tune with each other. They are not totally seperate from each other. Jesus' words to us are very similar to the Holy Spirit's words to us. They say basically the same thing, because they both speak messages from God the Father.
