Jesus was not a coward
He was resilient
A warrior
He said it like it was
He didn't hide the truth
Because he knew the truth would set us free
He was in your face
Rugged, bold, our brave savior
He was not like the girly men of today
He knew what he wanted
And pursued it
He always knew where he was going
And what he wanted to do
He was not double minded
He didn't quit
He kept up his good work, no matter what
Saving others, teaching, healing
He wasn't afraid to get the demons out
Of all those who suffered and needed to be free
He had no fear, no doubts, no regrets
He was pure and holy
Respectable, to be admired, well loved
Why can't men be like that now?
Why can't we all be like that now?
