Jesus Facts

 Things I know about Jesus:

He was feisty.

He was not necessarily attractive.

He was raised poor as a carpenter.

He often got frustrated with his disciples.

He was filled with the Holy Spirit his whole life.

He enjoyed the company of sinners. He did not shun them but wanted to show them love in the hopes of saving them.

He was the wisest teacher that ever lived.

He was an amazing healer.

He was wrongly killed for no reason, except that we know it had to happen to save us all.

He is now alive again and sitting next to God the Father in heaven.

He is God's only begotten son, created to reign and rule over the earth.

He was super antagonistic toward the religious leaders of his day.

He disowned his family when they called him crazy.

Jesus loves children and threatened the death penalty on anyone who hurts children.

Jesus took the time to talk to women. He valued women even though the Jewish culture saw women as property.

He wanted a select few to follow him. He did not like huge crowds following him if they were in it for themselves.

He did not seem to care about money since he didn't really need it.

He lived a nomadic lifestyle as an adult and preferred to move from place to place a lot.

He wanted it to be a secret that he was the son of God so he would not feel overwhelmed with the fame.

He was almost stoned by the Pharisees about 20 times.

Jesus loves us all more then we could ever realize.

He never talked about any spiritual gifts except healing and casting out demons.

Jesus respected his father so much that he obeyed his plan to sacrifice himself on the cross for our sins.

Jesus was able to fast for 40 days because he is God. That showed more then anything that he was fully God.

We know Jesus was also fully man because he ate and slept and cried.

Jesus walked on water and we all wish we could too. ☺
