Every person who is addicted to something always wants just a bit more. They start with a small amount and then it turns into a monster amount. Why? Because the demons tell them they need more and the addict believes them.
What is the need? Why do addicts need a drink or a hit in the first place? They think it will take all their problems away, but it only creates more problems. More health problems, more money problems, more family problems. You can't consume a lot of any drug or alcohol without it burning your entire family eventually.
You don't need the drug or the alcohol. You need only Jesus. Once you truly know Jesus, you don't need anything else.
