Intelligence is Vital

Intelligence is one of the most important things in the world to me. It always has been. I don't know why I haven't written about it in awhile. You can have all the money in the world, but if you don't have intelligence, you won't use that money well, so it doesn't matter. Make sure you have wisdom and intelligence more then anything.

Proverbs 1:1-33

"The proverbs of Solomon, son of David, king of Israel: To know wisdom and instruction, to understand words of insight, to receive instruction in wise dealing, in righteousness, justice, and equity; to give prudence to the simple, knowledge and discretion to the youth— Let the wise hear and increase in learning, and the one who understands obtain guidance."

If you don't have intelligence, Satan will get you to loose your mind. If you can't outsmart Satan, you have lost before even beginning the fight. If you can't think yourself through situations in your life, you won't have much success. Satan is always trying to steal our mind, because he knows how powerful we can be when we have a sharp mind. If you want to sharpen your mind, read Proverbs more. That is the best book in the Bible, I have always thought. It was written by the wisest man who ever lived, so of course it will make you smarter.

Colossians 3:2

"Set your minds on things that are above, not on things that are on earth."

The best verse to help you never loose your mind is this. Don't focus on the earth. Keep your mind fixated on heaven. Never stop thinking about God, ever. Let him and his love for you always be at the front of your mind. God should be on the front stage of your mind 24/7. If he always stays there, Satan can't take center stage.

2 Peter 1:5

"For this very reason, make every effort to supplement your faith with virtue, and virtue with knowledge."

I don't know why but a lot of people in church think you need to just have faith and not knowledge. You need both. Don't be lazy. Don't think knowledge isn't important. It is very important. More knowledge can Increase your faith, rather than make it less.

Genesis 1:1

"In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth. The earth was without form and void, and darkness was over the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God was hovering over the face of the waters. And God said, “Let there be light,” and there was light."

This verse is also meant to be an illustration of what God does in your mind when you get saved. Your mind is full of darkness and you are blind. There is a void in regards to spiritual wisdom. Then God says, "Let there be light in your mind." You can finally see. The light floods into your mind and you are no longer in darkness.

Proverbs 1:7

"The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge; fools despise wisdom and instruction."

This makes me think of the kids in school who were the trouble makers. They didn't care about learning, because they weren't trained by their parents to value wisdom and learning. My parents were both very much into learning. My dad used to say a lot, "Gather A's like golden nuggets." My mom never said things like that, but I knew intelligence was the most important thing in the world to her. Both her parents were teachers, so that made sense.

Don't be like those kids in school. Even if you were back then, don't be like that now. Respect others and respect wisdom. It will save your life. It will make your life a lot better then it otherwise would have been.

Proverbs 2:6

"The Lord gives wisdom; from his mouth come knowledge and understanding."

If you wish you had more wisdom simply ask God. There is nothing in the entire world that God wants to give you more then wisdom. I feel God has talked to me 24/7 for the past 3 years. It didn't happen for me until I got the gift of tongues. Before that occasionally I would hear God about things, but now it is 24/7 that God is speaking wisdom to me.

Daniel 5:14

"I have heard of you that the spirit of the gods is in you, and that light and understanding and excellent wisdom are found in you."

This is a king talking to Daniel. He wants Daniel to interpret a dream he had. To him Daniel has "the spirit of the gods." That would be the Holy Spirit. When we have the Holy Spirit in us we get light and understanding and wisdom. Him saying light is interesting. I just watched an Opera show where she talks about clothing yourself in light so that the darkness can't get in. Cloth yourself in wisdom too so the darkness won't get in. Jesus said, "Be as wise as serpents but as innocent as doves."

Philippians 1:9-11

"It is my prayer that your love may abound more and more, with knowledge and all discernment, so that you may approve what is excellent, and so be pure and blameless for the day of Christ, filled with the fruit of righteousness that comes through Jesus Christ, to the glory and praise of God."

The more knowledge you have, the more discernment you will have. What is that? It is being able to tell evil from good. The wiser you are, the more clearly you will see evil. Then you will never be fooled by evil, because then you can see it coming from a mile away.

Daniel 1:17

As for these four youths, God gave them learning and skill in all literature and wisdom, and Daniel had understanding in all visions and dreams.

Now read these verse on intelligence so that you can become more intelligent. :)

Keep your heart with all vigilance, for from it flow the springs of life.

2 Timothy 2:15

Do your best to present yourself to God as one approved, a worker who has no need to be ashamed, rightly handling the word of truth.

Daniel 12:4

But you, Daniel, shut up the words and seal the book, until the time of the end. Many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall increase.

Genesis 1:26

Then God said, “Let us make man in our image, after our likeness. And let them have dominion over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the heavens and over the livestock and over all the earth and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth.”

1 Corinthians 2:14

The natural person does not accept the things of the Spirit of God, for they are folly to him, and he is not able to understand them because they are spiritually discerned.

James 3:13

Who is wise and understanding among you? By his good conduct let him show his works in the meekness of wisdom.

Colossians 2:8

Acts 17:10-11

Proverbs 24:1

Job 28:28

And he said to man, ‘Behold, the fear of the Lord, that is wisdom, and to turn away from evil is understanding.’”

1 Corinthians 1:20-21

Where is the one who is wise? Where is the scribe? Where is the debater of this age? Has not God made foolish the wisdom of the world? For since, in the wisdom of God, the world did not know God through wisdom, it pleased God through the folly of what we preach to save those who believe.

Romans 15:13

May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that by the power of the Holy Spirit you may abound in hope.

Romans 1:20

God's invisible attributes, namely, his eternal power and divine nature, have been clearly perceived, ever since the creation of the world, in the things that have been made. So they are without excuse.

Proverbs 3:13

Blessed is the one who finds wisdom, and the one who gets understanding.

God loves you!!!
