Who is the Holy Spirit?

The Holy Spirit is God's spirit. He is the best comforter you will ever have. He is the Best counselor you will ever have. He is the best friend you will ever have. He is a friend that sticks closer then a brother. He is a road map. If you don't know what to do or where to go, he will tell you. And his answers are always the best. You want to have a successful life? Then do exactly what you feel the Holy Spirit tells you to do.

You want to stay out of prison? Do what the Holy Spirit tells you to do. It has been very hard this past 2 years for me to stay in my town, 6 hours away from my daughters, but the Holy Spirit keeps telling me to just stay here. He says this is where I am the safest, so I have stayed here. I could have gone out to try to see my daughters or try to get them back, but who knows what would have happened. Better safe then sorry right?

God knows best how to keep us safe. LISTEN to him.

If you want all your needs to be met, listen to God's Holy Spirit. He will take care of you better then you would EVER take care of yourself. He cares about you more then you probably care about yourself.

There is cowardice and there is courageous stupidity. The Holy Spirit keeps us in the middle, brave but of a sound mind. If you want to know the wisest choice in every situation, ask the Holy Spirit what to do. He always loves to help us.

Don't be afraid of the Holy Spirit. I used to be afraid of going deeper with God. Satan does a good job making people afraid of getting more filled with the Holy Spirit. If you have ever witnessed a Holy Roller church service, you know what I'm talking about. But you CAN keep your mind intact and be filled with the Holy Spirit. That is very possible. Being filled with God's spirit doesn't have to lead to you rolling around, looking like an idiot. The Holy Spirit makes you wiser, not more stupid.

The Bible describes the Holy Spirit as our helper. He teaches us all things. He reminds us of things we have read in the Bible, when we need it the most. He prays for us when we don't know what to pray for. He causes us to have more love, joy, peace, patience, goodness, faithfulness and self-control. He makes our body his temple. He is called the Spirit of wisdom and understanding and counsel and power. He gives us the power and courage to be witnesses for God. He is called the Spirit of truth. He will guide you into all truth. He brings freedom to your life and those around you. He tells us the things that are to come. He convicts the world concerning sin and righteousness and judgement. He takes away our heart of stone and gives us a soft heart of flesh. He causes you to obey God's rules better. He causes you to belong to God, to be called his children. He causes you to have more favor with God. He pours God's love into your heart till you are filled to overflowing. He teaches us spiritual truths and gives us eyes to see and ears to hear.

He is the all knowing, wisest and most loving friend you could ever have. He speaks to you 24/7. All you have to do is listen to him. Don't quench the Holy Spirit by ignoring him. Keep your ears open to what he says. If you do, you will be more and more blessed. Just wait and see.

Luke 11:13

"If you then, who are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will the heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to those who ask him!”

Ask God for more of the Holy Spirit right now. You won't regret it.

May God bless you!
